Integrity

Filed under: Integrity: — admin @ 7:29 pm

Dear Friends,

During last 25 years, I start observing peoples, and I realize one thing that we all

have our own thinking. We all are possessed by our belief.

We are so many times, with most of the people starting our conversation in their

way because we need them. However, that times our mind or thoughts are not

agree with our talk.

Even once, we never ask over self a question that what I am talking to other

person, do I agree with my talk or not? However, we are most of the time start

talking in their language only.

Do you think that we have our own integrity?

If we believe in something then we must stand up for that, same time we have to

prepare ourselves that may be other person can be agree or disagree with us. If

we want to be liked by everyone, don’t you think that it is impossible. According to

me if you want to be liked by everyone, then you will stand for nothing.

I don’t mean that you have to express your believes in cruel way, but same time

your action must reflect on your beliefs.

Therefore, by that we can maintain our integrity.

Here I like to mention two of true stories.

In 18th century, there was a Saint.

The Saint was staying in jungle and The King of that state was follower to the

Saint. The King use to visit often to the saint. One day King asked the saint to visit

him at his Palace, Saint agreed and said ok next week Monday I will visit you.

Monday early morning the king, send few of trusted people to the Saint.

When Saint arrives to the palace the king, offers him the chair made of gold, the

same time the Saint, turn back and starts walking towards jungle. The king

surprised and ask the Saint that oh holly saint please accept my gift, you will not

find donator like me! The saint replied yes that is true, but same time, you will not

find the Saint like me who

refuses to take your so-called expensive gift.

- Second true story.

The great king Akbar wrote in his biography (Akbarnama) like this…

Farid was a Holly man (Fakir)

The great king Akbar use to visit him often at his village. Holly Farid use to stay in

small place with no facilities, but always with smiling face and peace of mind.

One day few villagers pleaded to Holly Farid that the king Akbar believes in you

and visiting you often, when he visit next time please ask him to build a school for

our village so our children can get good education. The Holly Farid decided not to

wait until the great king Akbar visit him, rather he must go himself to his palace

and ask him donation for this good cause. The Holly Farid went to Delhi the

kingdom. Securities recognize him and let him enter to the prayer room where the

king was praying. The Holly Farid silently entered in pray room and stand behind

the king and observing him praying. As pray was at end the holly Farid turns back

and start walking out the palace, the king realize that somebody was in my pray

room and go away, the king turn his face back and realize that it was Holly

Farid.

King rush behind him and told that it is a good surprise that holly Farid visited

him and questioned him that why he is going away without talking with him?

The holly Farid replied him that I did mistake to come and visit you. My purpose

to visit you is to ask you donation for School building in my village, but I realize

that I suppose to not ask you for donation because you are still poor, while you

were praying I see that you still asking more money and bigger kingdom for you.

So I decided that better I can ask the almighty who you are asking and same time

I will ask my village people to give me some donation for you! Although they are

poor people but may be that little money from them can help you.

These two true stories telling us how to live our life.

Thanks,

Regards,

Vijay
